English III Juniors
English III is for the juniors at Parma High School. Our concentration is to improve skills in reading, writing, and analysis. This course is challenging and includes many written assignments. New this year is a "Me Book" which requires the students to respond to questions or ideas and complete 75 varied writings (from poetry to essay) and 25 artistic expressions. Additionally, we spend time preparing for the SAT by writing timed essays, using old SAT prompts. Finally, students read varied stories, novels, and plays during the year. This course is offered for college credit through CWI.

Vocabulary:
New set of 10 words each week. Students may make flash cards or use one of the online study programs. Quizlet.com - search for jdykas and then search for grade and set number.
