US History I, US History II, World History

I was born and raised in Eastern Montana and grew up in a small community much like Parma.  I come from a family of educators and coaches and always knew that I wanted to enter the teaching profession.  I attended Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota on an athletic scholarship.  I graduated in 1990 with a degree in history and Social Studies.  Upon graduation I began my teaching career which has spanned over 20 years.  In addition to teaching, I have also coached football, track, and basketball at the high school level.

I am temporarily “retired” from coaching while I watch my youngest daughter compete in basketball at the college level.  Upon graduation from Dickinson State, I married my college sweetheart.  Together we have raised two wonderful daughters who are currently enrolled in college.  As a family we enjoy sports, camping, and going to movies.  Camping at Redfish, near Stanley, Idaho has become a family tradition that I look forward to each summer.

I enjoy teaching in the Parma School District and feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful staff.  The community support that the school receives is second to none!
